Is this the Biggest Challenge Humanity Faces Today?

A New 'New World' Awaits Us!

Who will be the Christopher Columbus of our Time?

Christopher Columbus daringly tested a theoretical idea, that despite appearance of flatness, the earth, shockingly, is round. He opened up the New World. Today we live in a similar paradigm. By all appearance the universe is just about completely understood, the "Theory of Everything" is around the corner. Yet, a theoretical idea claims that we live in "Darwin's Cage", blind to vast parts of reality outside this cage. It is a simple claim: Darwin taught us that the force that constructed the amazing assembly called human being (human brain included) is nonother than a persistent survival threat, discriminating against the less endowed, leading to a chain of evolution that assembled innate chemical molecules into the coordinated sophisticated human beings that we are. Everything in us is a response to a survival threat. No intelligent designer is involved. What about the parts of reality that posed no threat? Our evolutionary ancestors had no incentive to develop means to notice them, to detect them, to consider them. And as a result, we humans, sophisticated, intelligent as we are, we are woefully blind to everything in reality around us, which did not happen to be a threat. How much are we missing? We have no way of knowing. Mind you, the things we see and sense fire our imagination up. The reality parts that we are blind to are beyond our imagination. Are we doomed to forever be locked in this Darwin's cage?

Maybe we are, but we are ignorant about these prospects too. Columbus figured out a way to test the bizarre 'the earth is round' theory, so should we. With great fervor I dive into this 'rabbit hole' using our new groundbreaking technology: AI, applying the new tool "AI Assisted Innovation" (AIAI). Albeit, my role is, at most, to point to this challenge. Breaking out of our "Darwin's Cage" is a mission for the best, the brightest, the daring, the young, the leaders.

Columbus voyage aimed to hook up with India, but resulted in encountering the New World, which became home to the Americas. Who knows what wonders will be discovered by modern day Columbus on his or her voyage to break out of Darwin's Cage!

Columbus was surprised to find out that the New World had unfamiliar residents and was challenged by them. Once we break out from Darwin's Cage we should expect to find the extraterrestrial that we looked for from inside the cage to no avail. How exciting?!

Please, young man, or young woman, give it a thought. A new 'New World' is awaiting your discovery!
